Timeline

• Our founder Mr. Josè Ardizzoia starts its business on the early fifties, making underwires and flexible boning
• The first patent about underwire production is registered in the 1960
• Mid-sixties: the production of swimwear for third parties is started
• From 1970 to 1980 the swimwear production becomes the main business
• 1990: underwire production is restarted
• 1991: upon customer’s request, we begin the production of separators, wire casings and molded cups
• 1992: NC (numeric control) systems deployed to produce separators
• 1994: swimwear production ceases
• 1995: underwires produced with NC machinery
• 1998: wire casing production is fully automated
• 1999: underwire production is fully automated
• 2000: NC fabric molding
• 2001: NC laser cup cutting
• 2002: delivery of the new factory
• 2003: start of hook & eye tape production
• 2003: deployment of 200 Kw UPS (uninterruptable power source)
• 2004: ultrasonic sewn wire casing
• 2005: heat-resistant underwires
• 2007: automated underwire production (toward zero-programming technology)
• 2008: flexyble spiral boning production is re-started
