Some bra fashion cannot be obtained with traditional wires and usual sewing techniques: deep cleavages, strapless bras, bridal dresses, they all reach perfection using our separators. Using 6 axis NC machinery, we can virtually produce any three-dimensional shape you can think of, in short time and with good quality.

Production

  • Materials: 3D wires are usually made with round stainless steel wire (1.8 mm diameter)

  • Materials: we can use also flat galvanized steel wire PET coated on those standard gauges (some geometry limitation apply):

Frequently asked questions on separators


1. I want a three-D shape

We can accept either a 1:1 drawing or a sample made by the customer using common fencing wire (available in any good hardware store). Should you submit a drawing, we need a front and a side view, or at least an indication of the piece convexity (millimeters). We can also supply the wire actually used to make the separators, but its high strength makes it difficult to shape with hand tools.

 

2. I need a simple “V” shape

Just let us know the “V” length and distance between tips. Sample will be mailed to you in a matter of days (if not hours).

 

3. I would like to use flat wire to do a 3D separator

Due to it characteristics, flat wire is not well suited to be bent into a 3D shape. Can be used only when separator shape doesn’t need sharp angles or convexity is negligible.



4. Do you have any dimensional limit?

Yes, albeit has rarely been an issue: the tipping process of separator cannot handle shapes shorter than 25 mm. Also, bending cannot occur on the last 10mm of the separator.
